I have been awarded this years World Press Photo Award. The picture was drawn from a set entitled "Battle Company, Afghanistan" that received a 2nd Prize in the General News story category.

I'm currently back in Afghanistan continuing work on a project about a group of US soldiers in the Korengal Valley. Some stills work first appeared as a feature in the January issue of Vanity Fair. You can also view the TV piece I made for US' ABC network Nightline about Battle Company, and hear an NPR interview about the insurgency.

I was awarded the David Kaplan award for best TV spot news at this year's Overseas Press Club awards in New York.

An exhibition commission for the British Council about Arabia entitled 'My Fathers House' is scheduled to open in Yemen in October 2008, and will tour the region.
